Automated Child Care Information System
This system allows HRA/DSS and approved vendors to access child care information in a timely manner. The system is currently being piloted to Brooklyn’s employment and resource contractors. These contractors have view-only access for purposes of searching the database to help identify child care providers and programs for participating parents and for checking on the status of participating parents’ enrollment and child care payments.

Office of Health & Mental Health Services System
The OPTIONS system is used by OHMHS to: track the delivery of psychiatric services to HRA/DSS clients; to review housing applications submitted by referring agencies to obtain community-based, supportive housing for their mentally ill clients; and to track clients' placements once housed.

Personal Emergency Response System
The Personal Emergency Response System supports Certified Home Health Agencies (CHHA), American Medical Alert Corporation (AMAC) and Homecare staff to effectively coordinate in requesting PERS installation and removal orders by issuing prior approval and tracking order history.

Public Health Insurance Prescreening System
This is the prescreening system for individuals and families living in New York City. This system can help an individual find out if he or she or his or her family qualifies financially for Medicaid, Family Health Plus, or Child Health Plus. Additionally, he or she can request an application kit which will include a list of places where you can enroll. Application for Social Security Electronic Transmission System
The Human Resources Administration worked with the federal Social Security Administration (SSA) and the state Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance (OTDA) to develop an electronic system that speeds the Social Security Disability determination process for HRA clients.  The system, ASSETS (Application for Social Security Electronic Transmission System) was introduced on October 23, 2007.  ASSETS enables HRA to submit medical documentation to OTDA, which conducts medical reviews of Social Security Disability applications for SSA in New York state.  ASSETS replaces a paper based process that was cumbersome because of the high volume of requests for information and the large size of each medical documentation package.

Substance Abuse Tracking and Reporting System
The Substance Abuse Tracking and Reporting System (STARS) is an Internet-enabled computer application designed to facilitate the exchange of information between HRA/DSS and the drug and alcohol treatment providers who enroll HRA/DSS clients. The STAR System enables HRA/DSS to capture significantly more clinical information, of both a quantitative and qualitative nature. As a result, HRA/DSS can monitor the progress of clients and track their compliance with rehabilitation plans. Furthermore, STARS also helps HRA/DSS better understand the needs of this target population and assist them in their quest for employment and self-sufficiency.

Wellness, Comprehensive Assessment, Rehabilitation and Employment Program
The NYC HRA/DSS Comprehensive Assessment, Rehabilitation and Employment (WeCARE) program provides a continuum of health, wellness and employment-focused services for cash assistance applicants and recipients who may have medical or mental health barriers to employment based on each client's individual needs, services range from initial assessment, wellness plans, applications for federal disability benefits, diagnostic vocational evaluation, employment preparation services including work experience, skills training, and education. WeCARE will help clients attain their highest level of function with the goal of self-sufficiency through employment or federal disability benefits.

Automated Child Care Eligibility and Enrollment System
ACEE facilitates the exchange of information between HRA/DSS and Child Care Programs that care for the children of HRA/DSS participants. ACEE expedites the eligibility and enrollment process of these children. Child Care Program staff enters information provided by the parent of the child into the ACEE system and the child immediately receives eligibility status.

HASA Housing System
HASA Housing automates and streamlines the housing process and ensures accuracy and security of data formerly transmitted through faxes and phone calls. Through an internet venue, Housing Providers will manage and update their vacancy rosters in real-time. Case Managers will request housing for their clients through a web-based form residing in HASA Web that allows applying to only providers with vacancies.

Adult Protective Services' Search System
The Adult Protective Services' Search System enables APS’ referral source agencies and authorized users to search referrals made to APS and view the current status of those referrals. The system would also allow the user to create online referrals to APS’ Central Intake Unit.

Automated Long Term Tracking System
Every event covered by the LTHHCP, initial referrals, reassessments, and service changes, is conducted in ALTRACS. ALTRACS contains web-based communications capabilities that enhance the depth and frequency of contact between HRA and the providers who service the clients. ALTRACS insures compliance with all applicable time constraints through its clocking mechanism, and it maximizes the client’s ability to receive waiver services through an accurate accounting of the client’s paper credits.

Long Term Care Web
The Long Term Care (LTC) WEB will provide a sophisticated computer platform that will help expedite the delivery of services and impose uniform practices across CASA offices and also it is a management solution developed to manage the entire lifecycle of the personal care case processing. The Long Term Care (LTC) WEB provides a management tool supporting the work flow based upon which all decisions and request made on every case are recorded. The LTC WEB captures the case at the time it is registered at HOMECARE and tracks every decision and all other details gathered during the evaluation process by the HRA staff and contract vendor.
