Updates
Updates are scheduled for at least six times a year on on or prior to the fifth business day following the deadlines of the annual registration and bi-monthly filing period calendar posted on http://www.cityclerk.nyc.gov/html/lobbying/reporting_periods.shtml. The last update was made on September 29, 2015.

The information presented in the NYC Lobbyist Search is derived from the export of the lobbyist database that is maintained by the Office of the City Clerk. The information available in this database is self-reported by lobbyists and their clients through initial annual registration forms and periodic reports that are submitted to the Office of the City Clerk for years prior to 2007 and via e-Lobbyist starting in 2007. The reports are checked for accuracy by the Office of the City Clerk, but are not independently verified or certified by a third party. Although all attempts have been made to ensure the accuracy of this data neither the City of New York nor the Office of the City Clerk assume any liability resulting from any inaccuracies herein. In the event of any variance between this data and any printed compilation of lobbyist data put out by the Office of the City Clerk since 2002 such printed data will be controlling. Some data prior to 2007 may have been subsequently amended, which may not be reflected in the database.
